I guess it's about time for an update. Anyhow... let's break it down:

Work:

Work has been alright lately. Our stupid ass manager left and we got a new guy in as PC area manager (PCHO and Tech Bench). His name is Chad and I think he's 24. Very cool and very responsible guy though. He's already married and he's already having a house built for he and his wife. He came from Gateway so he knows his way around selling computers but not the hardware itself. But he went to training and is learning from us every day. I think things will work out nicely with him. We also got our first girl back in PCHO. I guess with the employees we've had in the past the risk of sexual harrassment or something was too high, but all of those guys are gone. Her name is Stefani; she's got a lot to learn about the hardware itself but I guess she's supposed to be a really good salesperson. (I'll be working with her for more than an hour for the first time tomorrow)In other work related news I'm pretty sure I'm going to be transfering to Tech Bench. I talked with the guys up at the bench and Chad, and he wants to get me up there. I guess they need a strong salesperson up there and he thinks I'm the right guy for the job. The good news is I'll be working the job I wanted to in the first place, I might have the same time off as Clayton, Brian and Gerry, and I'll be getting a decent pay increase right before another pay increase for my year review. Bad news is I won't be able to see as much of "the guys", but they do need a Tech on in the dept. more often, so I'm sure I'll be doing that. All I have to do is prove to Chad that Aaron is good enough to move to full time, which requires no effort on my part aside from not letting him slack.

Went to an Intel convention the other night. Was pretty cool. Started off with a catered dinner. They brounght in representatives from HP and Creative. Didn't really learn a whole lot, but got to see the new Zen that Creative is coming out with... it's pretty impressive. Went to an Epson event tonight, which was awesome. They held it at Jillian's, so the food was really good to start with. The speaker obviously hated his job and had no enthusiasm at all. But we were joking around with the waitresses and keeping ourselves busy. When the speaker was done, which was like 20 minutes later, they handed us all gaming cards and let us loose in the arcade. It'd been quite a while since I'd been to an arcade and I had a blast.

School:

School is pretty easy still. We're getting to that point in calculus where it gets pretty rediculous. But, when you go to class everyday, and I'm trying to do all the homework, it's not so bad. Turned in my second paper in English; it's hard to believe it's still so early in the semester. Seems like it's been much longer.

Friends/Business:

I'm sure most of you know by now, that Gerry, Polcyn, Clayton and I are starting a business. Due to lack of having the same time off between the three of us, we've been slow to start, but we are starting. The name is Rescue Techs. It's pretty much a computer solutions company. In home services ranging from wireless networking to training, as well as PC building. We should be getting the name out later this week. Got a couple things we have to do before we go public, but we're hoping it goes well. Aside from them, I don't see much of anyone, and the only reason I see much of them is because I work with all of them. I see Bren probably more than anyone else. And between the few times we hang out and when I see him at work, David next. Cairenn decided [she no longer wants to be my friend], which is what my post was about, 2 posts ago, so i don't see her anymore. Westin and Jennie, as well as Krystal, are too Busy to see, I only see Dragan at school, haven't seen Lipski in a while, and probably won't (Because he's with Cairenn or doing other things I don't want to be around when he had free time) Rob I see when he comes up from Tucson, and Sal and Greg I catch occasionally. Andy and Chula are moving, Brent is moving, Brandon, Courtney and Chris are moving in together (which may make it easier to see them), haven't seen Tim in a long time. Don't hang out with Ryan any more. I'm sure there are a couple people that I forgot to mention (sorry, but I lost track). I went from having so many friends that I couldn't see all of them enough, to only hanging out with a pretty small group of people.

Computer:

My computer, again as most of you know, is up an running:

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
w/ HyperTransport (1600 MHz FSB)
ASUS K8V SE Motherboard w/ Gigabit lan.
1024 MB PC3200 Corsair XMS Extra-Low Latency (gaming memory)
160GB SATA Seagate Barracuda HD
BFG nVidia 6800GT OverClocked 256 mb
Audigy 2 ZS Gamer Edition 24-Bit Sound
Upgraded 520w Tri-Fan PSU
MX-510 (Red) Gaming Mouse
Full-Tower Case

Looks something like this: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=11-156-148&depa=1

Costs right around $1200, some of which I need to pay Bren back for. Works like a champ, can't wait for EQ2 to come out and eat what little free time I have at the moment.

Well, I work tomorrow, from 11-7, so I'm off to sleep. G'night.
