July 19 Tuesday Evening Hours
Kurosaki moved quickly through the bushes. His outfit was dark and mimicked an actual ancient ninja's outfit. Now and then, he would check the tool belt that went around his waist to make sure it wasn't slipping. His frame was too small and the belt would often come undone. It had become habit to Kuro to check the belt now.
He found the apartment and stopped outside it, hidden in the dark by shrubs. He checked his wrist which had on a strap that displayed the time. He still had plenty of time before Leo would head back to the apartment. He had been hiding out earlier and witnessed Leo leave. He had followed Leo, to see where he was going. Then he had quickly turned and ran back. Tonight was his only chance. He could not screw anything up.
He entered the apartment, heading swiftly down the hallway. Only once, he had to move quickly to shelter as someone walked past. Once the person was out of view, Kurosaki continued on his way. Arriving at the door, Kuro froze. He stayed still for several minutes, listening, observing inside the room with his ears. No one was inside as he had already known.
He quickly looked through his tool belt in search for meteor hammer dart, a tool for easy access through closed, locked doors. Within moments, Kuro was inside Leo's apartment room. His eyes scanned over the dimly lit room, the moonlight outside not doing much to aid his vision. He crept forward and began shuffling through anything that he found and thought could contain something important. Idly, he shoved some of the manga books into his shirt vest, not realizing he was doing it.
He laughed softly as he triggered easy to avoid booby traps. It never crossed his mind why a high school boy would need all that protection. He moved through the room quickly, checking everything. Once done in that room, he looked at his options. He went through the kitchen quickly and when done, entered a walk-in closest, but to his dismay, found nothing of importance. Something felt odd to him, but he couldn't figure out what. Instead he just quickened his pace.
Next the tea room. He checked it quickly, again feeling something odd. He didn't like the feeling. It made him more anxious and nervous. Finding nothing in the tea room from his quickened search, he hurried to the bathroom. His pace began to quicken even more. He entered Leo's bedroom, almost frantic to finish searching. It was becoming harder and harder for Kuro to avoid some of the booby traps.
The only thing Kurosaki managed to find as he quickly moved about the room was a tasser gun. It was actually the third one that he had found so far. He pocketed this one, not actually noticing what he was doing. He continued to search the bedroom, looking through any papers that he found. He was unaware of all the infra sensor rays he had already set off.
