お久しぶりです! / Long time no see!
I figured out some stats for my online fanfics this morning, and I thought I'd share the most interesting findings here. ^_^
So, I was really surprised to learn that, for the past 11 years (2010~2020), I've posted fanfiction for 35 unique fandoms. (I'm counting X-Men and Avengers as two separate franchises. A couple of fandoms were only used in crossovers. Japanese fandoms only make up about a third of my total. Whaaaaat.) Actually, it's 36, because I wrote a bit for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim anonymously a few years ago, and I still haven't claimed any of it under my name.
In any case, that's a lot of universes to play around in. And it means that, if you were to include my mountain of drafts from the same time period (and earlier? I was mostly a fanfic [beta] reader/reviewer before 2010), I've probably tried to write for somewhere near fifty fandoms. Holy shit. I was not expecting that at all. (This also means that I've read at least one fic in... more fandoms than that, hahaha, who knooooows...)
Another thing worth noting: all of my fanfics posted online are fills for prompts. For
comment_fic alone, I've posted 100 fills that are at least 50 words long. (I've lost track of the under-50-word stuff. XD) Somewhere out there, mostly from when I let Star Wars steal my brain, there are about 20 anonymous kinkmeme fills that are going to remain anonymous.. and, for some, incomplete. 6^^;;
Um... Let's not even talk about all the fic ideas I've ever started planning (some in detail and with research) but never started writing. Yeah... This is where the guilt for neglecting my OCs comes in...
