It must be true... the only reason Britany Spears hasn't spread for me is because I never bought anything she recorded. Is this a new thing? No - sir! Elvis had to wiggle his hips to sell records. Let's not forget those young rebels who don't give a damn about the upper class: The Rolling Stones. Don't forget to have your dentures takin out by your servents at bedtime, guys.
You know what your listining to is heavily packaged when you only care because there's an embarassing dance or moronic cacth-phrase lyrics. By the way do you remember BaHa men? Didn't think so.
Jazz music is great music. Each chord is so specific, each tone is so articulate, the meters are intricate, and the melodies memorable. What's really great about it is that each artist has a different version of the same jazz standard. They are free to take a song and make it theirs through their own personal expression. Modern music is just filling in words over a drum machine. The words may be expressive, but the whole thing isn't MUSICALLY expressive.
It's musically opressive.
Express yourself; record it; sell it to millions; dissappear of the face of the earth the very next summer. Don't call this music. Infact, don't bother making rap. I really don't care what you have to say, hommie.
