Sleepless - a poem
Sleepless
I lay tangled in sheets
Twisted in mood
Only a few hours
Till I must start the day
The clock a cruel reminder
Of rest lost never to be regained
The timeless night
Mocks with each passing moment
Heavy limed and wide open eyes
Flashes of dreams distorted image
Of nothing I can name
Pounding headache
Ticks off each
Lasting minute that fades to nothing
Such sadness it abounds and echo’s
In each pore and every cell
Like the mad voices that call and call
They have always been here
And forever shall remain so
As I lay sleepless.
well my friends it has been some time since i last posted here on LJ. To long, I had meant too, many times but never got around too it for some reason or another. mostly lazyness, and most of the poems and short stories I've been working on were just for me. But now i have a few things that I would share with you all or maybe not. theres at least this one for you all to read, that is if any one is still reading this at all. not that it really matters i enjoyed writing it and i post it for myself and you reader as well. but it feels good to post here again. This is something that i should keep doing, maybe I will.
