So, here we go, talking about hockey again. Have I mentioned that I frikkin' love hockey season? Best. Sport. Ever.
So, the Wild played in St Louis last night, but the game wasn't being broadcast, so I had to hear about their loss via the interwebs. Luckily, tonight's game is a home game (I was actually considering buying tix and headin into town to see the game live!!!)and so is being broadcast on FS-N.
Yeah, I'm in Minnesota, in an empty dorm, watching hockey. Life, right now, is good.
So the Wild have ben having a shitty season, tru fax, and this game is starting out kinda messy. Everyone's getting all shirty with one another, and it's cracking me up. I really died when the camera got in close enough that you could see that the ref was cussing like a sailor, ahahahah.
And the Wild score! Watch the celebration happen! Apparently, there's a group of little old ladies, all in Wild jerseys, all victory dancing. Oh, Minnesota, I love you more than you know, ahahahah.
For hockey blather that has all diddly to do with the game I'm actually watching (and I do mean watching; I'm typing without looking right now, which explains the typoes...) WTF was up with that "bad bounce" that got past Pavelec the other night??? 178 FEET?!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!
...AND NOW THERE'S A FIGHT. Told you it was getting shirty.
The little 'Cane is very little compared to John Scott, who is WHOOPING ASS. Also, is the 'Cane named Cowboy? 'Cause hat's what it looked like on the back of his jersey. Which, yes, made me laugh.
Honestly. Not even twenty minutes in, and I can already tell you that this is gonna be messy as hell.
So Imma be a shallow whore, and just say, Martin Havlat? Yes, you are pretty. It's really funny seeing you look all pretty just sitting there while there's a game going on, but I'm pretty sure that the camera folk also have a weakness for your pretty face. That's gotta be the reason they keep zoomin' in on it. Tru fax.
And then they have this segment that they're calling "Favorite Finns."
...I knew I chose the right state for college.
Also, their tv-talker lady is not half as obnoxious as the idiot we had this past season. Honest to goodness. And the chatty guys...ahahahah. I'm enjoying this mid-segment more than I usually do, really.
I'm just so glad to have hockey again, ahahaha.
