ahhh, i got home from work today, because I almost forgot I didn't have Italian today, so I'd thought I'd take a mini nap. I woke up at 6:30...and my Intro to Media Crit. class gets out at 6:10...guess you can't win em all. But I was feeling sleep deprived, and I desperately needed it. I woke up feeling groggy and light headed, extremely light headed. I got some dinner which helped a little.
Anyways, I'm getting ready to go out with Rachel, Patrique, and Joshers. We're hitting up the Patriot and a Pre-Halloween Party at Sly Fox...which means I'm debuting my Greek Goddess costume. I like to think of myself as humble, and non-obnoxious, but I also value honesty, and I have to say, I'm looking HOTT in this costume. I wish Halloween was three times a year.
I've had a long week with midterms. Been doing pretty well in school though. But I deverve a great weekend. I got a lot of stuff going on.

So, I was checking my myspace at work today and got a rare treat...Jennifer Saginor posted a Prelude to her new book...and i'm already addicted to it. I've been telling everyone about it and I probably sound like a broken record, but her first book, Playground, was brilliant and I recommend it to everyone. She's so good at taking a look at her own life, and digging beneath the surface of everyone else's, it's something we should all aspire to do. She hits a nerve in me.
"Someone once told me, when you have nothing, no one can take anything away from you. Once you lack something as a child, it can never be replaced. We may never find exactly what we are looking for." ~Jennifer Saginor
I wish I had heard that 10 years ago.

On Saturday, and maybe Sunday too, I'm haning out with Joshers and Co. at the studio...Kate Moss and Pete Doherty style. But it's not all fun and games...Josh has actual work to do, and I'm observing for a class project. I swear.
