Fall Break ended on Tuesday and I'm going to have to say I had a great time in Garden City. I went down with six of my good friends from freshman year. It's nice to have friends outside of the fraternity that I can hang out with. I'd venture to say that I'm closer to these guys than I am to some guys in Beta. We drove down on Friday and got a home cooked meal from Hugh's mom in Florence before finishing the trip. The short recap of Friday to Tuesday is sun, beach and beer. There was the USC/Notre Dame game on Saturday, grilling brats, burgers and fresh shrimp on Sunday and putt putt on Monday for the highlights.
It seems everytime I get on here, someone is posting about being lost. I know I do this too, but let me see if I can offer up some advice. Don't worry about it, you're going to change. It happens. Embrace it. Once you finally come to the realization of who you are, the feeling will be much greater. It's the struggles that make success taste that much sweeter. To steal a quote from Ed Bloom in Big Fish "Now what I recalled of Sunday School was that the more difficult something became, the more rewarding it was in the end."
Mountain Weekend is next weekend. I'm pretty excited for it. Then a few weekends after that I'm travelling up to Knoxville. I'm certainly hoping KC will be there. I'm still going regardless, but it wouldn't be the same trip without him there. That's all I've got. Taylor out.
