My Happy New Year - My thoughts after the celebrations stop

Well my friends the Holidays are over, both Christmas and New Years.  So although I had a blessed time I always seem to be my lowest after all the celebrations are over. You know, on the inside and in relationships, we've both traveled very similar paths. I too wanted to be popular... wanted people to like me.. and always put my own desires, wants, and needs on hold for the wrong people (as if there's a 'right person' to do that for? lol). I think we both use humor to show that things are wonderful on the outside while we're screaming or crying on the inside.

This is your year, sweetie. Start living for you and finding what makes you tick. I know it's not easy, from personal experience, but it's worth it. It can be hard to adjust, but like Vera said, "sometimes, you have to be a real high-riding bitch to survive..." lol You deserve parties, happiness, and everything that comes with things like that. Perhaps we both need to push each other and keep each other more on track. Life's too short to not experience more personal joy... and it doesn't mean to have to treat others badly, just standing up for yourself and putting your foot down sometimes.

I'm definitely glad you and Bill found each other (and I didn't even have to play matchmaker! lol). You've got a friend in me and you never have to worry about talking to me about anything. Nothing's too stupid, petty, or silly. It's a new year.. with no mistakes yet. Make the best of it!!

*huge hugs*
