I love London too. Me and Jamie always head there for the odd weekend away. Wonderful architecture, museums, art galleries, theatre, nightlife, fabulous restuarants, what's not to love?
But it will always be there, home is always is, and when you come back, it will be all the sweeter for missing it:)

I've never lived there on a permanent basis (though I hope to! if I'm ever, you know, insanely well-off), but I used to spend a few months every summer there, up until I was about thirteen. My dad's English (from Kent, I think?) so we spent a lot of time there being with family and whatnot, and even though I've lived in San Francisco my whole life, I kind of consider London to be my truuuue home. /sappy
idk you don't really have to be insanely well-off for a lot of places in London if you know where to go, obviously the REALLY nice areas like kensington and stuff are gonna be expensive but there's a lot of flats and council estates and stuff. But lol, i kinda get what you mean, a lot of my family is american (lol swapover) so i used to visit there a lot and i way preferred it (now, idk :P)
Argh now I really want to jump on a train and go to London now! I miss Camden, I haven't been there since I was like 13 :(. The next time I go to London won't be till November. I miss it! It's weird living so near yet not going very often haha.
No doubt you'll miss it but i'm sure whenever you come back you'll appreciate it more :)
IDK! I suppose whenever I go to London I go for either gigs, shopping in Oxford Circus/Covent Garden or I do the ~touristy~ thing. But for some reason I haven't been to Camden for shopping in yeaaars :/. And its so cheap to get there, less than a tenner ffs.
YEAH but lol once i went into this shop looking skinny jeans and the dude wouldn't let me leave until i brought something. he was all *GLARE* GO UPSTAIRS, THERE'S MORE UP THERE, i was all um, i don't think so? and he was all GO! LOOK, STAIRS! WALK UP THEM!
