Absolutely fucking glorious, that's what
In between installments of the long-runner, a random thing I decided to record for posterity, since I have the stuff conveniently set up anyway:
Don't Starve: Reign of Giants: Bearger vs Tallfort by credoimprobus
As the intro text declares, I've wanted to try this for ages, but never managed to be in the right place for Bearger spawning in when playing a world with this set piece. So when I got a tallbird fort in my latest new game, I went fuck it, I'll just make a point of hanging out near it 'round Bearger-spawning time.
(Of course, then the contrary bugger rolled up the literal second day broke as I was rushing back from a swamp run to take up my position -- but at least I was close enough that I could lead him there with relative ease (and minimal collateral damage). Phew, basically.)
End result: one of the greatest 5 minutes I've ever run in this game. :D
