Aka OH HEY LOOK WHAT I FOUND LYING AROUND PART-FINISHED ON MY DESKTOP, COUGH.

Your main fandom of the year?
In an answer that will surprise precisely nobody (seeing as it is true for the third consecutive year): Lost Girl. Doctor Who also continued on strong, and, as some people ~may have noticed~, I got really, really into Primeval: New World at the end of the year.
Your favourite film you watched this year?
The pool may be rather small (past are the days of 150+ movies a year, sigh) and largely consisting of Non-2012 Fillums, but that said: hands down, Attack the Block. <333
Your favourite book read this year?
DO COMICS/GIANT FANFIC NOVELS COUNT? *cough*
Your favourite tv show of the year?
Okay, let it just be said that I watched WAY TOO MUCH TV last year. (And a lot of these are Obvious, what with the Major Fandoms of the Year thing a lot of them had going.)
In no particular order (and probably not exhaustively): Doctor Who, Once Upon a Time, Fringe (not, ahem, quite extended to the fall season), Lost Girl, Bunheads, Sinbad, Warehouse 13 (MY ~FEELINGS ABOUT CLAUDIA&JINKS' GLORIOUS BROTPNESS: ~EPIC~), Scott & Bailey, and (although it's enough of a cusp show that I was tempted to leave it till next year-end's roundup) Primeval: New World.
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Toss-up between Primeval: New World and ~♥Bunheads♥~. Also, after a long time of it being on my to-watch list, I caught up on and totally fell for Community.
And if we're going into older, long-since closed canons as well: THE MIDDLEMAN, OMGGGGG.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
ALL THE THINGS BEING CANCELLED. :( (Seriously, I'm apparently one of those people whose loving a low-performing show is the kiss of death. *WOE*)
And can I particularly give a GODDAMMIT THE SECRET CIRCLE yowl, here? Just saying, after a season finale reaction like that, that one really got me in the gut. >:(
Your fiction boyfriend/girlfriend of the year?
MICHELLE SIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMSSSSSSS. (This vehemence may admittedly be as inspired by the post-New Year half of the season as the summer half, ahem.) TRULY STONE. DYLAN WEIR. RUBY|RED. INDIA, OMG INDIAAAAAAAAA. (Poor maligned darling. <333)
(I watched a helload of lady-centric/heavy TV last year, okay. Heh.)
And on the other side of the fence, Amber!Lincoln Lee (PRECIOUS BB), Elliot Knight's ridiculously hot ass, and you know, BECAUSE THERE WAS A SEASON OF PSYCH AND IT'S OBLIGATORY BY THIS POINT, Burton Guster. <3

BECAUSE SERIOUSLY OMG OMG OMG
(ALSO EVERY MOMENT OF BO/KENZI-TASTIC AMAZINGNESS IN 2X18 & 2X19, BUT ESPECIALLY THIS ONE (although that one's less with the squee and more with the ALL THE SOBBING, ALL OF IT), plus: the way the pairing took off in the fandom relative to previously, over the year <333)
And this probably doesn't really count, but the elaborate headcanon I built for the Ponds post-TATM made me REALLY REALLY HAPPY. <333333333333
OH OH OH OH OH ALSO: Toby Nance: Canonical Big Damn Queer was a pretty damn sweet moment too. \o/ \o/ \o/
Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
If I'd actually finished and posted this in any kind of timely manner? RETURN OF LOST GIRL would have been an obvious one. (AND BOY, HAS IT BEEN FULFILLING EXPECTATIONS.) Also hugely, hugely psyched for the arrival of Clara/Oswin/Whoevershe'llbe as a fulltime companion on Who, EEEEEEEEE. (AND THE FURTHER RETURN OF VASTRA & JENNY, OBV.)
Aaaand now I go to sleep, because I have an early wakeup call to go get my broken-ass tooth mucked about with. XD; Yeah, I really should have waited to post this till tomorrow, ahaha.
