In actually very, very related for once news: SCREW IT, I think I'll just submit my poptimists ballot early this year. I'm not listening to much new music at this point anyway (although I really need to check up on new bass 12" releases from the last month before I start setting my personal list in stone), and iirc you can just amend it before roundup if there is mind-changing. ...Should probably ask about that. XD; The pmists list will definitely not be the same as my main one this year -- I'll be cutting out any bass that I don't feel the fervent need to rep for (well I mean, stuff is HALF of my top 20 XD; and it's not as if any of it's gonna get any other ballots), and dropping some of the moar pop stuff that I don't feel any specific personal attachment to -- which is why I'm considering submitting it already. (I will here make confession that, okay, the main reason I'm doing an abridged list for pmists is because I REALLY REALLY WANNA REP FOR THIS ONE, and it's some 8-9 spots outside of my top 20, so. XD; XD;)
AND HONESTLY WHY AM I POSTING ABOUT MUSIC WHEN I'M SUPPOSED TO BE WRITING AGAIN. XD; XD; XD; okay, no, I do know exactly why: because that shit is currently way too porny for me not to run and hide from every now and then. XD; XD; YES, I AM PATHETIC.
