Games & Services reminders
The grand opening is pretty close - I plan to have it within the first week of September - so here are some reminders regarding games and services!
Games
✘ Games will be posted when the TCG officially opens. Prejoin closes today [tomorrow?] but you can only start posting games after the grand opening deck release. Please follow your schedules! That way, we won't end up with a situation where most of the games are posted on the same day and players have nothing to look forward to for the rest of the week
✘ Use the following tags for your game posts:
-games
-weekly/biweekly/monthly
-"game name" [eg: etude, compilation]
-mod: "your name" [eg: mod: tari]
-open [[be sure to remove this when your game round closes]]
✘ Feel free to do special rounds whenever. You don't have to ask for my permission! Please make sure your prizes are reasonable.
✘ For the first round, it'll be nice if you can include an explanation of how your game works, especially for newer games like Higher or Lower and Karaoke Glitch. For Broken Record, please make sure to remind players that prizes are automatically given after they complete the round.
Services
✘ Masteries: When approving masteries, check to make sure they have all the cards in their logs. Please avoid the situation of handing out masteries to players when their cards are actually being held by other players. Comment to this post once a week and let me know who has mastered what. Keep it in chronological order for now, but I'm considering switching to alphabetical order to avoid competition for first masteries...
✘ Level Up: Check to make sure they have the right card count, especially from Level 6 onwards. Comment to this post once a week and let me know who has leveled up to which level. Alphabetical order is fine.
✘ Redemption Center: Currency-for-cards exchanges are straightforward, but there're a couple of other currency exchanges which may be confusing. To sum up,
Exchanges that are allowed at Redemption Center
-Gradesheets for prizes [unlimited]
-Tickets/Stamps for cards [unlimited]
-Stars for tickets/stamps [unlimited]
-Tickets/Stamps for stars [players can only get a total of 12 stars from this type of exchange each month]
Exchanges that are not allowed at Redemption Center
-Tickets for stamps / Stamps for tickets
-Stars for cards [wrong currency!]
I should probably update the Redemption Center with the above list... that looks more understandable than what we have currently.
✘ Pawn Shop: Check to make sure each player has not exceeded their monthly limit, and to make sure that each player have traded in regular cards OR special cards and not a mixture of both for choice cards. [A mixture of both for random cards is fine]. Comment once a week to Vintage Box with a list of cards that are traded in a textarea. Separate the list into regulars, specials and puzzles. Only the cardnames are required, no html codes please.
✘ Vintage Box: Check to make sure each player has not exceeded their monthly limit. Since we're using a tradepost manager, let me know asap if there're any weird errors... I may have toyed too much with it while trying to make it work. x_x
