I was just thinking about the main topic of conversation and probably the most important one and urgent is the talk about money and finincial problems of all kinds. Moreover, the recent finincial crisis poured oil on the flames.
So, I desided to collect some thoughts and set-expressions about money:
- Never invest your money in anything that eats or needs repainting. BILLY ROSE
- There are three principal ways to lose money: wine, women and engineers. While the first two are more pleasant, the third is by far the more certain. BARON EDMOND ROTHSCHILD
- Wealth is like sea-water; the more we drink, the thirstier we become. ARTHUR SCHOPENHAUER
- The only thing money gives is the freedom of not worrying about money. JOHNNY CARSON
- It isn't necessary to be rich and famous to be happy. It's only necessary to be rich. ALAN ALDA
- Whoever said money can't buy happiness simply didn't know where to go shopping. BO DEREK
- I will tell you the secret to getting rich on Wall Street. You try to be greedy when others are fearful. And you try to be fearful when others are greedy. WARREN BUFFET
- One may see the small value God has for riches by the people He gives them to. ALEXANDER POPE
- Someday I want to be rich. Some people get so rich, they lose all respect for humanity. That's how rich I want to be. RITA RUDNER
The list can be continued and it will definitely be!
