why is it that every time my baby and me want to spend some "quality time" together, one of the kids won't go to sleep for hours and hours??? if it is not one, then it's the other, and they seem to rotate the duty. there should be a law against this. but here we are, jacob in violet's room trying to get her to sleep, and me typing on the computer in my nightie. ah, the joys of parenthood. tempted to inject her with some whisky er somethin (not really, but still...)
