The American Idol for aspiring novelists!

The competition works sort of like American Idol. You have until August 22 to send in your full-length manuscript, and to post the first chapter in the group First Chapters Romance Writing Competition. After August 27, other users on Gather will vote on the chapters they like best. 25 authors will move onto round two, and further voting will narrow it down to the cream of the crop.
