Out the door
So I forgot to mention any of this but:
I'm leaving work in about 10 minutes to finish packing.
I'm going to NYC tomorrow morning for a 2:30 interview at a firm in Midtown. I'm pretty confident that I'm going to get the job (legal assistant, hey it'll pay the bills)
I'm going to the outer banks on Saturday and staying until Wednesday night. It's going to be great.
Joe Welch and I saw Rancid last night and it fucking ruled! They played lots of stuff from Life Won't Wait and And Out Come the Wolves. They even did some Op Ivy songs! I mean, one of their encores was a fucking acoustic version of "soundsystem!" It ruled. They played almost every song I could have possibly wanted to hear. Now I remember why I love stupid punk rock. I'm glad I got to see the show their first night in town.
Well, I need to get going. Wish me luck tomorrow! I'm nervous, but it will be sweet if I can get a job on my first interview!
