First let me apologize for the extreme lateness of my update. If you didn't already know, I got married at the beginning of November so pretty much anything between the beginning of October and this past holiday has been a big blur to me. I had meant to get the results of our September contest up and viewable on the site before I left for my honeymoon, but it didn't happen.
However, those results are now viewable on the site. Just check it out under News > Latest News > September Contest. It'll only show up on the site for Registered members, so make sure you log in first! If there was a completed October contest, I missed out on that post, so someone please direct me to that information, and I'll get it posted as well.
Also, while I'm here I wanted to address the issue of Registered/Public entries for stories. I've heard that there have been some questions about why some stories are showing up to people that are not registered on the site. If this is a concern to you, your stories are editable, meaning you can go back in and change how they're viewed. If you read the Site FAQ and the information I posted about submitting a story, or site information, you'll know where to look. The quick version is this: When you submit a piece of writing on the site, there's three tabs of the bottom of the page where you're composing your story. In that area, you can choose whether your work is Public or Registered. Public means anyone that wanders across the site can view it. Registered means just that. Only registered site members can view the work. It only takes a few seconds to scroll down and change this before you submit any writing to the site, so if privacy concerns you in this matter, please do this.
If you have any other questions, leave me a message here, or use the contact information on the website. Thanks!
