The goblin he once was looked much better in the video, and when I saw a few seconds of a live of INDEPENDENT (thanks to V-ROCK 2011) it looked very good on him actually! I even was somewhat envious of his hair.
Ayame's hair. Yeah I really love it, but I do kind of miss his Anomie look, he looked just cute there (with too muck eye-make up but hey you can't have it all). For some reason I am just a sucker for guys with long hair. And if they happen to make it blonde, fake or not, I seem to like it most of the time. I loved Genki's hair too, before he cut it off. Now he looks like a taller version of Ruki. Scary.
Ah, you really should listen to Cavalry! Karyu composed it so it sounds like D'espairsray with Kirito on vocals. I'm not a full 100% sure what I think of this, but it sounds pretty good to me!

I'm still waiting for a box that should have been shipped by now. I waiting for stuff, especially when it's already taken longer to ship than it normally does, and for more money, I might add. I want my stuff!!!
He did... sorta look better in videos, but overall the hairstyle was still strange to me. Honestly, to me nothing compares to his Anomie look. I miss his billy goat hair so much D:
Ayame just looks very handsome in this video. We've never really gotten to see a manly side of him, and so even though his hair is extra long, his clothes and his wearing less makeup still give a manlier finish. It's weird, right?
I miss D'espa sooo much! Not like I listened to them regularly, but their disbandment still hasn't sunk in. I shall listen to it tomorrow morning, I promise!

My box did not come today. I am now really fearing a fine since it being late usually means well... Customs office picked it out and sticked a fine of about 30 to 40 euros on it, as well as 18 euros administration costs. I mean what.the.dustbunnies, ripoff... More updates on this later. If you hear an ear-piercing scream coming from the direction of Holland, Kirito and Aiji proved to be expensive, AGAIN. And Aiji ís expensive because on May 16 he's also throwing out an LM.C DVD. Ohmygodyoumustbejoking...
Aiji do you need money to feed Maya and the cat or something? Maya proved often enough he can eat the table and as for fibers... He's totally at the right adress at that table.
Anomie was a really good look. And yes, Ayame is very manly, even with that long hair. It's strange, but I thought he looked scary in the previous video so I guess it's okay? Evened out again or something?
I miss them too! ;_;
But to lighten the mood... Some Karyu is a massive cheat at this game and he doesn't do it on purpose. Scary...

Oh, no? Mine has not either. It's been three weeks and I've decided I'm calling the post office on Monday. It's not supposed to take more than two weeks, really. I'm paranoid, and terrified it may be lost in the post... or possibly held hostage in customs. D:
I don't understand customs at all. THEY open YOUR package, and then charge you for finding nothing wrong?? Does not make sense!
These artists are sooo expensive. They had best be glad we love them so much; they are costing us a royal fortune.
I really like Ayame's look. Ordinarily I'm not so fond of him. Total plus to me :)

I'm quite sure mine did not come today either. At least, I did not have an angry phonecall from my mother asking why she had to pay a fine for me. I assume it didn't arrive then. We are rather unfortunate. But it took almost a month for my last package to come here from Florida. I mean what the hell, normally mail is faster? I sear, they fired 90% of the people working in and around the postoffice.
As for customs: exactly. But I have a problem that's called 'forbidden import' here. Which is rediculous because there is no other way I can order stuff from Japan here. No shop will take that risk, so I have to do it as an individual. And I already let them mark my packages as 'gift'. Psh.
Exactly. If I look at my collection, I get a heartattack on the spot. That can't be good, right?
I liked his Anomie-look, but before and after that... No. Not appreciated. This new look? Heck yes.
Ah, yes fun stuff. One has got to love it.
Karyu is a part of Angelo now. After D'espairsray disbanded he suddenly popped up as Angelo's guitarist. And now Kirito and Karyu are best friends. I don't know if I have to be encouraging this, or cry in a corner because Karyu is the new Aiji...

The US Post office has definitely been having difficulties; no one sends letters anymore (except me?) and people pay their bills online, so they've lost a lot of money. They've been considering different things to cut the losses... I think the Postmaster General (head of US Postal Service) mentioned not delivering mail on Saturdays anymore, but we have yet to see that. I'm really hoping that that's the only reason my mail is still not here yet D:
Forbidden import? But why, what about it is 'forbidden' to them? I these obnoxious little rules; they're just ruses for money!
My collection is not especially big, so I don't get a heart attack. I stare at it proudly, though.
Hmm... I guess all I can say to that right now is... I MISS D'ESPAIRSRAY!!!. *sigh* I am happy that he's found a place for himself though in my mind Karyu will always be a Despa member...

And 'forbidden' import are goods you can't get in the EU, or are cheaper in countries outside of the EU. If I buy a computer from Poland, that's legal. If I buy Aiji's sorry behind from Japan, that's illegal because THEY believe you can order those CDs here in Holland too. I must say, Holland and Italy are the most strict countries on this matter. In the end it indeed is all about money.
And that's the best thing to do, be proud of what you have, even if that is just one or two things. I started the same way anyway!
We all do... Though I must say, Angelo's new single which was composed by Karyu does sound too much like D'espairsray with Kirito on vocals. Amusingly enough I had a chat about that same topic with someone before the single was even announced! Shocker. XD I said that if anyone would sing next to Hizumi on stage, it had to be Kirito. And guess what, Kirito turns into Karyu's new Hizumi. >> Oh, this was at least disturbing.

Ohhh, really? That's interesting. I guess they want to keep as much money in Europe as possible, but even so, they shouldn't effect charges just because you want to import something. That doesn't sound fair to me. What if it really is something that you cannot get in Europe? How do they decide whether or not you could have gotten it there as opposed to abroad?

Sorta, huh? It's just... very different. Not what I'm used to when I think of Angelo. Not that I listen to their music a lot, but still. I guess it will take some adjusting, perhaps they'll settle into a sound that better represents Angelo's sound. Because no one can replace Hizumi. :P

This honestly is D'espairsray with Kirito on vocals. But I have to admit, Karyu knows how he has to use Kirito's vocal capabillities. The first time I listened to it (and I tried not to!) I wasn't sure what to think, but it took a few more listens (I listen to stuff on repeat all the time because I'm silly and I forgot I am actually listening to it) it really started to feel like a 'new Angelo'-type of sound. A sound in which Karyu and Giru are there, and not TORU××× anymore. Because thát Angelo... Was actually just Kirito putting his words and music on paper and recording. This is an Angelo that works with more brains, more visions and more styles. D'espairsray was as dark as Pierrot was, but in the end Pierrot... Was turning more pop-ish and D'espairsray came with MONSTERS, the complete dark, raw opposite of well, ID ATTACK. (They released stuff after that, but ID ATTACK was the last album with mostly new songs and no re-recordings or piled up from other albums-songs. Ánd it contains Bairero no Sekai (rose-colored world), which is the only song I can think of when someone asks me 'Pierrot at a tv show?'. They looked so happy together, Kirito was smiling with every word, Aiji was being a clown, Kohta and Jun couldn't be more serious and Takeo was mentally absent I believe. Good times.)
In short: No. Nobody can replace Hizumi. Though it is rediculously scary when you talk about Kirito singing D'espairsray songs instead of Hizumi and they throw out Calvary which sounds like D'espairsray with Kirito on vocals. I will have nightmares about this, really.
Also, I will try to make an entry this weekend about how my internship is (I am not proud of it, more the opposite but I'll explain that in the entry itself, though there is one thing that does make me happy. I made something that will be on the building itself, three times the size of a normal human in height and width! Eeeee! *o*
When it will be there I don't know, but I hope soon because I like, want to stand at the trainstation for no apparant reason and think 'I made that, and everyone here can see it'. Lol, ego needs to be boosted apparantly.
And because we speak about Kirito so much here, have one. :D

Kinda, it does sound like D'espa. I definitely think that they will come to their own, you know, an appropriate blend of what Karyu is familiar with and what Angelo created before. It just might take some time. And D'espairsRay ended only a short time ago, so Karyu's mindset may still be very much ted by the music he used to make.
I know that no one can replace Hizumi, but I sincerely miss his making music, you know? I loved his voice.
I would be interested in hearing how your internship is going. But you also sound very busy, so make sure that you prioritize your work and REST above that. The post can come at any time.
When they do post your banner? I wanna see a picture of it!!! Remember, otherwise I will be mad! D:

Hospital is a check-up on how my eyes are doing. I was supposed to have one a while ago already but they messed up there too so I had to wait two months extra. Greeeeeat. Orthodontist is also a check-up. Haven't been there in years, but I am really hoping they will remove the iron bars I have behind my teeth at the top and bottom. People who have had braces here get an iron bar behind their teeth for a few years until their teeth and facial/yaw-bones are fully grown. And age wise, theat's the case here so they hopefully will like, relieve me of the everlasting 'oh my god not again, extra food between teeth again!'-agony. XD
Karyu has always been very clear what he wanted with D'espairsray, so I guess that it's still in his way of thinking. But this also sounds very much like original Pierrot, which Angelo basically is if Kirito has any say in it. Angelo's first single was named REBORN for a reaason you know. ;] It had some Pierrot influence here and there, but yet it just... Missed Aiji and Jun. And 3/5 part of Angelo is well, Pierrot... What else did we expect?
Hizumi was amazing, and all we can do is hope he will one day return to the stage again as a vocalist, with the rest of D'espairsray. Even though Sono teases me on the bus every day (twice!), I do listen to their songs quite a bit. My usual choice of music is Pierrot though, I seem to return to that again and again. I wonder if Aiji knows his old band is pretty much keeping my sanity here at the moment. I'm shaking like a leaf from stress every day. Not joking there. So much mess...
I can give you a really long post about how my internship is going, since there is good and bad stuff, but I'll keep it short for now. I'll try to update tonight, since I sleep rather badly anyway. XDz
The short version: The people (all of the staff) is really nice to me, and I didn't expect that at first, but they are nice to me, say to me they think I am nice, and they really appreciate my work.
Problem is though: they give me no work at all, or work my school doesn't approve of because it is either too simplistic, too little or way out of the league of what school is expecting me to bring back to finalize my graduation project. So I went to school today to talk about it, and they are not.happy. To say the least. So, I am back to shaking all day again. v_v
Maya already said it, but I will say it again "Go cry, go smile! Let me go crazy!" I think that song is grey on every possible place I can play it. I listened to it so much already...

Ohhh... how are your eyes doing? Do you feel okay, like do you feel any different?
I've never had braces before because I don't really need them. Cosmetically, probably, because I do have a slight overbite, but it's not a bad one, and it doesn't inhibit my eating or cause any jaw pain, so I'm not gonna bother. Would rather not have the doctor people convince me that another thing is wrong with me and make me feel bad. I hope for your sake they remove the bar though. That sounds totally irritating D:
Then yeah, it probably is hard for Karyu to shift into a new band like this. He will probably try to bring some of that vision over to Angelo, and even though it will be different, it might still sound very nice...
It would be nice, but if his illness persists, he might not. I haven't checked in on his Umbrella Project lately to see what is happening there. I guess I should.
So what does your school have to say now about this dilemma? Sounds aggravating, to say the least.

I do feel different when it comes to my eyes. I can't see any better, but I can't see any worse either, that has remained the way it is. Luckily. But when it comes to keep focus on one or more targets it's a lot easier, so I do feel better!
Braces weren't my choice either. I hate my glasses (but I can go finally pick out new ones, yay! Let's do my very best to find some I can actually live with!). and my parents made me get braces. That hurt lol.. But in the end, I have straight teeth now. Not white though, hell no. I drink way too much coke/pepsi/tea for that, but it's a start.
If you don't want any braces, don't. As long as you feel good about yourself you shouldn't change anything! I only accepted to make my parents shut up, because they both have very bad teeth (my mother even misses some, but you can't tell) and my dad has a lot of fillings. I guess they are really proud to have a kid with absolutely no dental malfunctions besides self-inflicted damage by sleeping with thumb in mouth for a good 9 years? Mine wasn't even a slight overbite anymore, it was just well. Dinosaur? I still have the moldings from before and after, I should take a picture for you next time! And bar, yes. Very irritating. I currently have some of tonight's dinner stuck behind it at various points. And it's just one of those irritations you can't ignore.
I'm sure Karyu will do well with Kirito. Kirito himself is a very complex personallity anyway, he can make music with pretty much anyone I guess.
Speaking of music, I just finished listening to Matenrou Opera's new album Justice. I am not very sure if I like it, because there are quite a few downtempo or lower tempo songs on there, but overall I am giving it a higher rating than I gave Holy Grail. You know what happened to that.. But just as HG, Justice (the title track) is the best 'new' song on the album. I said the same about Masquerade. I was enjoying that song at work today, the Versailles one. I don't know why, because it seems I have heard God Palace too often or something...
I believe Umbrella is actually signed to Darkest Labyrinth or Starwave. I remember recieving a message from Kiwamu about one of their singles. I listened to it because I was curious about Hizumi's influence, but I fear I haven't found much of it, if any.
Oh gosh... My school... In short: I would yell of excitement the moment they actually give me my graduation papers. Forget the ceremony, papers, autograph them, so out of there. And to hopefully never return.
But I went to my school earlier this week, and the result was a talk. A talk that will happen tomorrow afternoon, between my teacher, my boss at this company, another boss at this company who is showing up unannounced, and myself. We are going to evaluate what I can do within the company in order to graduate properly, and if they can't come to an agreement, the problem will continue. The entire problem is made by my school really, since they didn't 'investigate' what exactly the jobs I'd be getting there were. It was more 'oh we have a company, send her to them'. If I had been a year 2, level 4 student it wouldn't be a problem, but I am in my graduation year, and I have to work much harder than a "younger" student because of that. And then they tell me not to worry. I mean, you're joking. Right? Of course I worry, if they can't come to a mutual agreement tomorrow it will be 'bye bye' to my graduation papers and HELLO to a huge fine of the government. Don't you give me enough fines already, government? ¬¬
