This is me, NOT neglecting my duties. I found out about this incident this morning, but I waited until I had a bit more information to do a post.
In Venezuela, Hizaki decide to do a stage dive. Typically when a member leaps off of the stage, those in range catch him and carry him along. That is fun and spirited, and allows everyone to share their love and excitement with each other.
What is not fun: rabid fangirls clawing you to pieces (my exaggeration), and ripping off your headdress and some of your actual hair (not an exaggeration). So yeah, the Venezuelans ripped out some of the beloved princess's hair.
Versailles made history as being the first Japanese band to perform in that country. We'll see if anyone trusts them to tour there next year. Or at least, they can likely assume that stage dives (or coming anywhere near the edge of the stage) are out of the question. Absolutely ridiculous behavior. Of course it was not their intention to hurt him, but they did purposefully grab hold of him and abuse their privilege? of touching him, so they should be shamed for their behavior. It's not a good way to start things off.
