International Jasmine You Day

Aug 08, 2011 21:22

It's basically an event on facebook. Those of you on facebook. But it's... a personal thing?

Anyway, I just wanted to say a few things, it being my duty as a Versailles fan.

The emotions are nowhere near as raw. He crosses my mind from time to time, but... thinking of Jasmine You was never a source of tremendous grief for me anyway, seeing as I became a Versailles fan after he died. It was easier for me to move on that way, I suppose. That and Versailles' strength to move forward... it's inspiring too. It's not like they gave up on Jasmine, but you'd think that if the dead were watching us (I don't believe are) then they would want our lives to be filled with joy, not grief. Or else they would have to be cruel, selfish ghosts.

Just take a brief moment, you know, for his family. Don't linger on the sadness or anything, hang on tightly to the good memories. I'll probably spend tomorrow watching a few videos from Chateau de Versailles and History of the Other Side. Just to see his gaudy headdresses again :)
