Loli Hyper

Loli as in Lolita. And... it's all rosen_schwert 's fault. First, she had to tease me with the Versailles calendar. Made me sad. Then she got me hooked on Baby the Stars Shine Bright and Alice and the Pirates' website. Not nice. Not nice at all.

A few days ago, my mother was upset with me because I told her that I would be giving her money to put into her ( Read more... )

Yes, you're right. I posted that entry with you in mind, KNOWING it would be the biggest tease ever. Then I though I would discreetly post a Baby/Alice link in an entry pretending I wanted loli cat ears, but actually I just wanted you to click on it & get hooked.
I have been busted.... & NAME DROPPED FOR MY EVIL DEEDS YET AGAIN. D: ....But that's okay, I've already had my revenge. Because my user head betrays your layout's crown theme in all it's brown haired glory! WAHAHAHAHAH! (they didn't have one with black as the darkness of hell hair).

In all seriousness now, the calendar isn't as out of reach as you might think. V-Rock fest are doing pre-orders for the calendar now, which is released in late December. Shipping from V-Rock (to another location in Japan) costs 840y whether it's one item or multiples. Obviously you'll have to pay comission on the calendar, a small international money receiving fee (mine was 210y for two calendars) & then for it to be shipped to you... But if you split it between a few people who want it it knocks it down a little to where it might be reasonable.

(split between two)
3000y (calendar) + 475y (comission) + 420y (domestic shipping) + 105y (int. money fee) = 4000y exact.
idk what shipping from Japan would be & I won't find out until they send me the final invoice... but SAL (takes 1-2 weeks) & costs about 1400y for 1kg. And I'm pretty sure two calendars won't weigh more than that. 500g is 900y I think.

Of course there's always the option of waiting to see if a site that ships overseas gets them, too. Personally I didn't, because I have an order for other things in Japan pending right now anyway.. & if I ordered a calendar on CDJapan the separate shipping would make the calendars cost around the same as what I paid with comission & other junk... so yeah. And the serivce I used only makes you pay the price of the items you order at first. They'll pay the shipping out of their own pocket, & then invoice you the final amout when the items arrive with them & are ready to ship. When you pay they ship them to you.

Telling you this may not make any difference to whether or not you can get one (because it's still expensive), but I thought it would be good to know the facts & reality behind it all rather than just thinking " Oh god it's on a Japan only site, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. D': "
Now that I think about it I'm probably just doing more harm & causing trouble again by pointing out you CAN have it if you pay THIS much. But it took so much effort to write imma send it anyway.

You are constantly name-dropped for your trouble in my journal. You're starting to get a nasty reputation with my other friends, you know... tsk tsk tsk. And I don't care if your userhead betrays my crown theme. It just means that you're not elite like the rest of us! :P

As for all of that... while you explained it quite thoroughly, I'm still confused. You're talking about using a shopping service, right? Well anyway, I don't really know anyone who lives in Cali that wants one. I don't even know any Cali Versailles fans. Except one, actually. And everyone else lives too far away for it to be worth it. One of us would pay an annoying shipping charge to get it to their house from the other person's house. And in the end, I just can't justify buying it. It's not expensive in itself, but for right now... my mom would just get pissed if I bought it. Of course, she won't let me use her account for shit unless it's via paypal anyway. And so... no calendar for me. Haha, the fact that it was a Japanese site was the least of my concerns really, I knew someone would help me figure it out :) But you're still a troublemaker. So... thanks... anyway.

That's okay. I'll look at in a positive light, & say that a bad reputation is better than NO reputation. From now on, I won't post exciting updates on my journal then. I'll PM everyone on my friend list BUT you.

Aaand yes, I was talking about a shopping service. That's fair enough though, but just so you know the payment method for the service I used was paypal. >_>

NOOOOOO! MEANIE! MEANIE! Waaaaaaahhhhhhh!
No seriously, that would be a pain. You couldn't possibly enjoy sending like, ten PMs every time you had something exciting to say. So I know it's not true. So there! :P

And stop making me miserable with all of your little solutions! You're making the whole "accepting that I can't buy it" part very, very difficult. You already got me into trouble with DESTINY. Even though it's really not your fault.

Hahahah, I so would if it would contribute towards 'proving a point'.

And I just thing everyone should have the opportunity to have Kamijo wearing a purple, pink & black kimono (that shouldn't look good on him but somehow does) on their wall. And then Yuki too. Because you once said that he has a big drum stick & that you wanted to see it.

And what point would that be? That you have too much free time? (ouch!)

And I said NO SUCH THING! I simply commented that Yuki must have a big drumstick because his drum kit is so huge, and that's all I said. Didn't I just tell you the other day that penises scare me?! And I can't imagine they can just sell pornographic material on the commoners' market anyway!

Well no! My point was that to prove a point my stubborn self will go to extreme lengths. Even if it's pointless. And having too much free time isn't so bad, either! It means I can dedicate it to knowing & finding everything.

But you said it with a sly, virtual wink - so it's obviously what you meant even if you didn't exactly say it like that! You also said that when Kamijo was dressed as a ship captain you'd scrub his deck any day.
No, wait, that was me.

Um, sure, you can call it that, haha

It's always you and your horny fangirlness. You're trying to convert me, but it won't work. I can't possibly go from never-been-kissed to admirer or drumsticks and deck scrubber in one leap. And about captain Kamijo.... seriously?! (although, I probably would have said something like that, had I cause to....)
