Emotional meltdown last night; had long, 2am conversation with my actual sister. So I was emotionally and phyiscally drained, slept till eleven (God, I hate that) and am now suffering dead-brain. I believe I told
aerysa that there was a difference between stupid-braid and dead-brain. Stupid-brain is much more of a delirium, like what happens when you have really, really fantastic news and you have to nap to recuperate. And dead-brain is something worse and less pleasant. And so I really haven't been able to achieve much today, quite obviously.
Finally got around to watching History of the Other Side DVD footage on youtube yesterday (in honor of International Jasmine You Day - on facebook, but I was honoring it everywhere). Finally. And the first video I watched was the live performance of "After Cloudia". Loved it. It was so cute and loving and fun, much more intimate than the Chateau de Versailles footage (which I still love immensely). So this is it:

The things I really loved about this performance: Kamijo's bedroom voice. When he announces the song, he starts off with his quirky manner, and then when he says "cloudia" it comes off really smooth combined with his adorable smile. Bedroom voice. It's very cute. Kamijo uses his bedroom voice without thinking; almost every time he opens his mouth it's like he trying to seduce someone. Which probably works very well for him, haha ;)
Then when Kamijo has Teru clench the rose between his teeth. Teru = Jailbait. All the time. They take advantage of his cute cuddliness. But on a positive note for Teru, I was impressed that he could pay attention to what Kamijo wanted him to do and do it while playing. Good job, Teru-bear :) Gosh, if I had been in the audience to catch that rose... I would have killed for it. Killed.
And then Kamijo's smile to the camera. Very cute. Poor Yuki though, did anybody else notice how completely squashed he was back there?! Trooper, he is. Had to wonder how he even got back there; his drum kit is huge. Kind of looks like they had to harness him and lower him from the rafters or something. ahahaha...
Generally it's just a great performance, and I could watch it a thousand times. If you're not sick of the song by the end of this (or however many times I mention it again) you should watch the Chateau de Versailles performance too. A bit more professional, but Kamijo and Hizaki share an intimate (as in brotherly) moment too. Since Hizaki hardly got any love in this one.... And as Chateau de Versailles takes place at a better venue (the beautiful Shibuya CC Lemon Hall) the sound quality is even better, especially in regards to vocals and the sounds that have to be played on a track (indescribable instruments). Okay, nuff rambling, hope you guys liked it :)
