okay, so my Macbook is taking a leave for about 2 weeks. My brother gallantly offered to buy LAN cables so I could have internet in my room. My internet saviour? My iMac! I've had this baby for more than a year and it's helped me with graphics, CD and DVD burning, and writing. Only, it wasn't net-ready because I didn't have LAN cables set up.
After lunch, I tried to drill a hole through the door frame. I don't know what kind of wood they used for that, but it was tough as concrete! I had a hard time, but my mom gave me permission to drill the wall, instead (Yeah! I'm such a DIY man!) and made the cables go through. In a matter of 30 minutes, the my iMac had become net-capable. I'm back online!!!
Next project is to find fa-shyon wall clips for the wires and fa-shyon rubber tubing for the wire on the floor. Also, to buy an external HD that's about 200GB for all my files.
I'm happy again!
