So if God is love, than are you saying that love can hate? in which case, woulden't that be a contradiction?
God Cannot Stand Sin, It's not that he can't stand the sinner. It's just the sin that the sinner commits. and we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. Yet God forgives us all. why? because he loves all of us. but God can only allow those that request the sin to be washed away into heaven. if you don't ask he won't give, simple. like with solomon, God could of just blunty given him wisdom but no he asked him "What would you like?" and solomon answered "Wisdom". because God gives us a choice of free-will. he want's us to make up our own mind. My belief is this (and i know you don't agree with it levi...but i think you are just misunderstanding what i am saying) I believe God has a path made for all of us yet God gives us the free-will to choose that path or deny it. Like in loving him, God wants us all to love him but not everyone does. that's because he gives us all the free-will to choose to love him or not.
You gave no real biblical evidence for believing what you believe, except you just "feel a certain way".
"The Bible is the only infallible rule for faith and practice. Thus, our experiences, impressions and feelings must be subordinated to what the Bible teaches" - Brian Schwerley.
Who can define God the best besides God himself , he shows us his nature, his wrath, his righteous hatred, not to mention his abounding love that i can't even begin to understand.
God is good, it is impossible for any of his actions to be evil. Therefore everything he does is good, whether you feel it to be "right" or not in your finite mind. I would rather trust God and his word than my own emotions.
You gave no real biblical evidence for believing what you believe, except some guy named 'Brian' said so. Last time I checked, my bible didn't have a Book of Brian, through there was that Monty Python film...
also it is impossible to refute one bible verus with another, it would make the bible contradictory. why would you want to do that? what do we do then? We figture out the context of what God said when he said "for God so loved the world".
How can God hate all who do evil, yet love everyone as you say?

First of all, where did I ever say God loves everyone?
Second, I see now you quoted psalm 5 further up the thread, however that particular verse says nothing about subordinating our experiences, impressions and feelings.
It does say that God "hates". Other parts of the bible says God is love (1 John 4:8). which brings me to your main point...
It's not that I WANT to make the bible contradict itself. I do not think that is within my powers. However, I want to ammend your question and shoot it back at you:
"How can one say God hates all who do evil, yet also say God is love?"
Is there a specific verse that addresses these two items together, or do we have to use feelings and impressions to explain them?

I wouldn'tsuggest using "feelings" for exegesis.
Just because God is love does not mean he is required to love everyone. In fact, he doesn't owe man anything.
He is also just, holy, and righteous. Now, if we use your logic, Then why doesn't he send us all to hell? After all he is just, right? Well, he is also merciful. God has many attributes and love is just one of them.
