Really need to stop doing this....
For about the 3rd week in a row, I am going to bed at/after 3 AM. This really can't be healthy or beneficial to my studies. ie. Calculus. Then after a block of seemingly productive studying I am able to effectively determine that I still do not understand the concepts.
At this time I am having a rather difficult time determining the equation of the plane containing two parallel lines,
L1: x=-6t, y=1+9t, z=-3t
L2: x=1+2s, y=4-3s, z=s
If these two lines are parallel, then any two vectors intersecting both lines could be cross multiplied to determine a vector normal the plane. Then pick any point on either line and use it with the normal vector to determine the equation of the plane in standard form (ax + by + cz + d = 0).
Or at least, that's what I thought...
I really like math, but I am having a hard time with it. It is also my belief that I should pursue recognition (ie degrees, minors) in areas that (1) I am confident in, (2) I am skilled in, and (3) that I enjoy. So far math only accomplishes one of the three requirements.
