I'm at home, once more. Home for good. I missed how this place smells. And the noices. I can hear Dad in his office above me, I think he's looking for something. He's got that I-know-its-here-somewhere quality to his footsteps. Alice and Merry are making dinner and I can hear Merry bossing and Alice putting up with it and Lavannah chirping in every now and then. I can't hear Satyr but that's normal. Hales is in my room with me trying to dress Cassandra after her bath and Cassandra is having none of it. Amelia has just taken Phoebe downstairs to heat up a bottle. Selene, I think, is monopolising the bathroom. Hecate is standing in my rooway staring at me. Can cats sense ghosts?

There are no signs of trouble. Not yet. I'm worried, but I'm happy to be home.
