New Island was a bizarre, almost surreal mix of a barren ruin and a construction zone. The interior of the almost completed structure was dusty, dim, and unsanitary. A nearly completed tower rose above the rocky island, and two smaller towers bore sails that turned in the wind, providing power to the lone building on the island.
Mewtwo was sitting motionless on a raised concrete platform in a large, empty hall. His eyes were glowing blue; if anyone arrived on his island, he would know instantly. His tail twitched behind him in expectation. He had hopes that this venture would allow him to feel emotions, although he wasn't entirely convinced.
