Revenge of the Sith
Finally saw Revenge of the Sith last night
The movie is AMAZING!
Like all the others, are made better because of it. On top of that the action is like nothing you have seen before. I mean the Mace Windu fight alone is worth the price of admission. Futhermore, Anakin's turn to the darkside is so fully understandable that all of a sudden you begin to think that maybe the Jedi may not have a corner on the truth. In my youth I was a huge Star Trek fan but now I guess I am willing to admit that Star Wars has won. It flat out beat star trek. Another thing is that the first thing I see on the net when I wake up this morning is that some conservatives are going to boycott starwars because of literally 3 lines in the entire damn movie. They are

Obi Wan: Only a Sith Deals in Absolutes
Padame: ( After the Emperor anounces the republic will now be an empire) So this is how liberty dies to thunderous applause.
This type of bullshit just pisses me off. Why are these conservatives so damn sensitve. I thought that was for democrats, aren't the republicans suppose to be the quote real americans? It was three lines. And if you are going to be sensitive ,why dismiss the lines out of hand. Why not actually consider their meaning. Would it hurt thier fragile "America is always right" view of the world. And if that can't be done here is an idea: just ignore it. After all it is George Lucas' story and he can tell it any damn way he pleases. Okay phew, that was cathartic. Thats all for now.
