Wherefore art thou, Romeo?

Is it Friday yet? D: D: D: It's been so hectic that I haven't gotten my minimum hours of TV this week, and that makes me cranky. T_T But I don't want to talk about that right now. What I DO want to talk about is...

Romeo x Juliet -- my new FAVORITE thing. *__________* I was afraid my expectations were too high, but the first episode ROCKED. Everything just clicked. I hope they somehow use, "Romeo, oh Romeo, wherefore art thou, Romeo?" later on. XD Btw, the main story is an altered adaption of the original. Many details have been changed, especially on Juliet's story. I like that, though. Keeps it fresh.

Watching this makes me think of Scrapped Princess. I really want to watch that again, too! (Well, when it's not so busy. I feel like I'm behind. Yet I'm here right now. *ashamed*) I'm debating whether I should get the boxset (released last month) or the Advent Children Collector's Set (so pretty!). Or both. ;3

I've also been re-reading "Full Moon wo Sagashite" for the billionth time. I definitely think it's Arina Tanemura's best work.

One of my fav. illustrations. I wanted to post one of Eichi, but he's like, sacred. XD
Anyway, I realized that I've been interpreting the ending wrong. o_____o;; I can't believe it!! I mean, it's good both ways, but there's this detail about a major character that makes a lot more sense now. It's one of those details that make you think back and go, "That explains it!" I blame my misinterpretation on the anime. They made me believe wrong. T___T Unless... I thought wrong over there, too? *dies*

I tend to fall back on anime and manga when I'm at my busiest. ^^; Two quarters ago, I think I was downloading a bunch of stuff right before midterms. Horrible! But I needed the break, and there's something very relaxing about animations/illustrations. (I think I bought El Dorado and Spirit near testing dates, too. Haha. ^^;;)

anime, manga
