just now, i met up with my socioling groupmates to discuss about some tutorial presentation, which is actually rather trivial, but somehow we managed to spend 4.5 hours discussing online, CMC, *shakes head*. it was still all right.
so as usual, i suggested using google docs which has beocme the most important software since the last semester. and as we were about to finish what we've got, i accidentally clicked something, and the table with all the important information DISAPPEARED, and that moment, i really just wanted to die. and i started having a mini nervous breakdown.
but guess what! PRAISE GOD, aidan saved the file :D like a few seconds, or milliseconds before i deleted the table. oh man, it's like what are the odds of us remembering to safe it once in a while, and we've gotten so dependent on technology that i really wouldn't bother. thank You for the holy spirit prompting aidan to save the file. it's not cause the tutorial presentation was such a big thing, but cause i spent 4.5 hours and really a lot of effort formulating the answers. and i thought it was really cute. cause my group actually had 4 of them, who did historical variation together. and it was so coincidental that all of them are christians, so they will pray before every meeting (okay, i really found it a bit weird at first), so before this meeting, they told me about this and i was like sure, lets say a prayer before this meeting.
i didn't really give much thought into this. but i'm really glad that we have the presence of the holy spirit for this meeting, even though it's not like a really big thing to me. like sometimes, i tend to just not talk to god about small things, cause i always think that i only ask god to help when i need it, other times, i can do without it, but that's certainly not true. our mighty god is a god of small things too. and we should invite the holy spirit into every moment of our lives, so that he will guide us even in things that we deemed as not so important. you never know when you need him around. may god be with me through all the big and small projects that are to come this semester :D
