(no subject)
so tonight is christmas night for my family. i just finished wrapping some of my gifts and it feels good to see them sitting pretty in my room. i have spent the majority of the past two days searching and spending to find the right gifts, and now i get to enjoy the calm of seeing them sitting in their pretty packages and waiting until they get opened. in the world outside of my home there are quite the festivities and partying going on which normally would make me frustrated as i am somewhat stuck inside for the night, but tonight i feel differently. i want to sit around with my family and see their first reactions to what everyone gets. i want to curl up on the couch with my sister and watch a movie. my parents are leaving tomorrow and i wont see or talk to them for about three weeks, so the partying and the bar hopping is going to have to be put on hold because tonight im staying in :)
