Tiger & Bunny, that is. I finally got around to watching it, and I'm far from displeased.
Oh hey, I even got a snazzy icon to go with this post!
My impressions?
The opening and ending songs weren't keepers. Probably the only thing that kept me watching the beginning was the character cut-ins and introductions. I was sold when I saw some scenes that could play key (I'm assumming this show could recycle a bit, not that there is anything wrong with that) later on.
First episode ... could have been bigger, I gotta say, but was still a great starter.
After watching all the way to episode 6, I've decided that their bloated tag on pixiv and jp.google is well deserved, and still can't decide which was my favorite thus far;
First it was 3, mostly for the animation, but also for the rise in action while not in their suits, then it was 5, for the gangs antics, Sky High (goodgodheissohonesthowadorable♥) and just Barnaby. Now, it's gonna be 6, and at this point I'm gonna say "Screw it, I love this series,"
At this moment I'm watching 7 (listening), and even though I have yet to meet him yet, I gotta feeling I'm going to be a Cyclone fangirl - from his way of showing up in the background, to appearing in the picture Bunny was shooting with some girls, he is quite the quirky one. Then again, a lot of his fanart makes him look like a certain boomerang-wielding white-haired tween, so, yeah. I'm crossing fingers and toes that depth for him comes soon, since we already have T & B mostly, BR, and a pinch FE.
I totally don't have a little boy complex. Really.
plus, I can totally see why Tiger & Bunny are so swooned upon together. It's not like the typical case of fundashi that they see a boy and a boy and squish, you got BL. There are acutally many innuendos all round that maybe I'm just so stuck in the gutter that the normal fandomizer hasn't caught on to. I highly doubt that though.
t&b,
