I definitely think this is helpful; I've always had trouble getting my animated icons under and never really bothered to figure out how to fix the settings. Awesome. :)

Somehow I managed to learn more about the settings as I was making this, I'm so bad at animations.
Plus I don't think I've ever seen a guide that explains the optimize settings.

I don't recall one either. Thats actually how I learned how to animate; I just kind of went into ImageReady and played around with things and taught myself tweening etc.
