(no subject)
i wanted to get deep with some thoughts i've had since fridays student meeting but i'm too tired today. i've balanced out the day doing work, homework and then planning for an interview tomorrow. wowzzers! this week is going to be crazy and i have to go shopping tonight for shoes, a blouse maybe and few accessories. i hope my interview goes well tomorrow and that i get the job. it is right up my alley, pays more and will allow me to stay in graphic design and be a manager, finally. if i get it, i will not be heading to chicago as i am schedule. no biggie. i rather go to chicago for fun.
school is going well. one of my classes ends this week and the other has another 6 weeks to go. this is already the third week. i spent the weekend in dc studying with my friend, shopping in maryland to get him some nice duds at a few hot stores, had a great dinner at hamburger hamlet, studying some more, watched a few movies, listened to techno, listened to my friend play his native american flute solo with techno, laughed at dave sedaris (6 to 8 black men and santa claus), more studying, fixed a really good dinner, playing with gizmo is his hamster ball, more studying, did some religious reading which was very thought provoking and insightful. did you know there was a gospel of mary magdelene? yup! it is awesome!
i finished most of my work and i just turned in one quiz, with another one to do tonight and post a few things. then try and work on my other piece tomorrow and turn it in at least by midnight tomorrow night since i'll be at this event all week in DC. ah well...hard work will pay off once saturday comes around i get to hang out with my coworkers and have a game of flipcup! its on! then totally rest on sunday and start on the next homework assignments for next week.
i'm learning so much...but the most important question on my mind right now is "What is my gospel?"
maybe i have to write it, or maybe i am already writing it?
in other news unreleated to what i just wrote, i received my wedding invite to Faze and Latecia's wedding over the weekend but i just got it today. very exciting. i almost cried!
the week begins and nothing is ever certain...lets just hope i can make it out alive. this is going to be a very hectic week. if wednesday ends soon, i might metro up into Eastern Market and see if i can meet my kickball team at Ugly Mug.
on and on as the hashers say...on and on.
