Whew!
I have been in church all week. We had a revival. The speaker was awesome and we had a great time. A lot of funny things happened but I can't think of them right now. I am too exhausted.
One thing does stick out in my mind though.
Technology is great. A few years ago I purchased a camcorder and it a 'shaking hand' feature. This feature ignores my shaky hand while I am filming. It will steady the picture automatically.
I hope assume this feature is now on all digital cameras and camcorders.
Anyway, on the 3rd night, KK and I were enjoying the service when a man in front of us held up a tiny digital camera. It was one were you could view the pic before you took the snap shot. KK and I just happened to be in the right spot to see the intended subject on his screen. He aimed at the subject. But he had shaky hands. I mean they were really shaky. So shaky that I couldn't see the intended subject clearly. He was all over the place! He aimed for what seemed like 5 minutes. The more he aimed the shakier his hands got. He finally pressed the button. Snap. I saw the still. Unbelievably the intended subject was in clear view.
Technology is great.
KK and I, once again, giggled for a good bit. He was shaking so much it looked like a good skit for a sitcom or Mad TV.
Why do such funny things happen just at the time you are supposed to be somber or silent?
I think I am coming down with something. I have this scratch in my throat that I can't get rid of.
