Warning: Cuteness follows
Last night as we were sitting at the bar of Sushi Damo, waiting for our take out sushi to be done, Hiza and I sat and recounted our days (well, his day, since I did diddlysquat). And then he said "You know what we need? We need a dress up night where we get dressed up and go out somewhere really nice." And I replied "Definitely. It'd be a lot of fun. But let's wait until we're not both skint" and he agreed. That's so cute. I dunno, it was to me. LOL.
I'm psyched about this weekend. Katie is arriving on Thursday night and Hiza's middle brother (Kio) is arriving on Friday. And we're grilling out on Friday yum.
What else? I haven't started packing yet oops. I have training for half a day tomorrow and Thursday I go in for meetings and to set up my room.
I made a delicious chocolate cake for Ken for his birthday last week. "Death by Chocolate" it's called. Mmm. I think I am going to make a bundt cake for Friday with drizzled marshmallow creme and drizzled frosting.
Okay, time to get off the couch and return some library books LOL. I lead such an exciting life! but it is my last day of "freedom" so I want to sit outside in the square and read and write. And so I shall :)
