Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone! I have had an awesome week. Wednesday - went to Green Bay, went to the Resch Center to watch MSU beat UW-GB by about 31 points. They had a really strong second half performance, it was great! The next day in GB we went shopping for most of the day. Thursday night we stayed at the Tundra Lodge, which is a really nice place on Lombardi Avenue, it has a really nice indoor waterpark with two big slides. We had a blast in GB, on Friday we shopped a little more and got back to IM around 5:30 or so. Friday night was the Scholke/Donahue Christmas party at the Donahue's house here on the North Side of IM. The party was great! On Christmas Eve we went to Negaunee to visit with my maternal grandparents, Grandma Phyllis and Grandpa Bob. We had a really nice dinner, played some smear and hearts, and then went to the Mitchell United Methodist Church Christmas Eve service. We got back home late and started watching A Christmas Story on TBS. Christmas morning my younger bro Cole woke up earliest, around 7 am. I got up at about 9. Each year I've been getting up later an later since my days when I used to get up around 6 when I was about 10, 11 and 12. Well Christmas was great. We opened up presents here at home and then after awhile we headed to my paternal grandparents log cabin up in Merriman. We had a huge feast for lunch, it's been our Christmas tradition for years. We had homemade raviolis, turkey, and ham, as well as really good brownies and lemon bars. Well this computer is acting up so I'm going to head out. I LOVE VACATION! Peace.
