Happy Birthday "Kentucky" Jon Edwards!

Dec 06, 2005 02:50

Tonight was great! Chien, Jon, his friend Jon, Devon, and I went to Crunchy's right before midnight to honor Jon's 21st birthday. Our plan was to have "one" beer at Crunchy's, a common phrase amongst us people of age who have lived at Mayo Hall. Well "one beer" meant two twenty-five ounce mugs of ale for all 5 of us as well as a shot of Jose Cuervo for the whole crew, thanks to Chien and Cav, who made sure Jon's first evening of being 21 did not go without a Tequila shot, despite his vehement arguments about not having a shot of hard booze tonight because he has a test at noon or something or other, some kind of nonsense anyway. Well we had an awesome time at the soon-to-be next Michigan Historic Site known as Crunchy's Bar & Grill of East Lansing, MI. After having a great time at Crunchy's the five of us made the walk over to Bell's Greek pizza and we each had at least one slice of the good and greasy stuff. Then we walked back to Grand River Ave, where Kentucky Jon and the other military Jon of Farmington Hills parted ways with me, Chien and Devon. Chien and I walked Devon to the Yakeley bus stop where the night owl CATA bus had just arrived, we saw Devon off safely and then we came back to Mayo where Chien and I busted out Tom Petty's "Yer So Bad" very loudly in the hall of 2W MAYO. It's been a great start to Jon's 21st Birthday. Good night my friends! YES, THAT INCLUDES YOU!!!
