Today, Sec. of Defense Robert Gates told congress not to repeal Don't Ask Don't Tell at this time because the military is studying what to do. I think Mr. Gates (and frankly Mr. Obama) forget who they work for. The executive branch of government's job is to carry out the laws and directives from congress. Not the other way around. Congress needs to grow a spine, and inform the executive branch who is in charge.
