Even more politics on Christmas

According to an AP article, the pope thinks people are being stingy this year in their giving. It couldn't be because the catholics in the US gave a ridiculously huge amount of money to forcibly divorce same-sex couples in california could it? He went on to say: "[God's saving grace could] "alone transform evil into good [and] change human hearts, making them oases of peace." Maybe God will speak to him and tell Mr. Pope-man that denying loving couples the protections of marriage though out the world puts those hearts at something other than peace. It also makes those couples have to spend a lot of money on lawyers to attempt to get some of the basic protections afforded people through marriage.

On Thursday, Mr. Pope-man also "amented the suffering of children who are abandoned, living on the streets." remember that this is the same church that would rather see abandoned children suffering in orphanages, or on the streets rather than being cared for by loving same-sex couples (either as adoptive parents or foster parents).

Oh, hypocrisy, thy name seems to be "the Pope on Christmas"

OK, I'll try to post happier things for christmas.

politics, rant
