DO NOT GO TO SCHOOL UNLESS YOU ARE SURE OF WHAT YOU WANT TO STUDY AND DO AFTER YOU GRADUATE

This cannot be clearer especially when you are not sure that you have the money to afford it. Otherwise it's a big waste of time and money.

I think you should list qualities you want in a job, qualities you have in your personality, skills you have, and review past work you've done and what you honestly enjoyed about each place/job. Then get cracking sending out your resume to places that sound appealing. Just trying to meet people in a field you are interested in is great! Let them know you are wanting to learn more and ask interested questions :)

In the meantime you need to keep busy volunteering or doing something in a field you might enjoy or even just doing volunteer work to help others less fortunate. You seem like me in that you have to be doing something or you question your self worth a lot. Volunteer work helping others less fortunate makes you feel needed, helpful, and helps with self perspective. It most often leads to happiness and friends... sometimes even networking.

I'm in a similar boat right now, so if it's of any comfort- you are not alone. :)
