If, after we're finished with that we still have time to spare, we can always occupy ourselves with sparring -- to test the balance of weapons, of course.
I daresay even that is a better use for our time than decorating for that over-inflated peacock.

Well since you're both paying attention~! I thought I'd tell you the beautifying project has been approved by the captain. I hope to see you both when it starts~.

How unfortunate. As you can see, Bangladesh and I have already made plans for that time. I'm sure can find somebody else to bother with your beautifying project -- you hardly need a Quartermaster and a Boatswain to help you when there are Airmen to do the job. Your authority alone should be enough to direct them adequately, hm?
We will probably spend our time sparring with either each other or some of the members of the Public Relations team, should they agree, to hone our skills after falling idle due to the festivities. You're free to interrupt, but be warned that our weapons are sharp and accidents can happen.

Before you get any bright ideas, I'd like to point out that I don't look kindly on accidents happening on this boat, specially when they involve such bright, careful individuals as yourself.
While I doubt I can miss Zhang He, Captain, I feel that he should be careful if he decides to creep up on a group of people waving around sharp objects.
I'm sure nothing untoward will happen, but basic knife-safety rules should be followed, wouldn't you say?

I just think my....talents... could be better used elsewhere. [can you hear the evil grin?]

[He's smirking slightly himself]
Perhaps you have some thumbscrews that we could polish, or some blades we can devote our time to sharpening.

Why yes, yes I do! ...And my saber may have a defect. I'll have to slice someone up to double-check!

'Balance testing' is one of my favorite activities!

I shall have to extend the invitation to Jenka, I think.

[He's amused at that.]
As long as you make him promise to resist calling me 'Dollink'. It seems to be be something of a habit he's fallen into.
