this place features announcements related to this icon journal. the current subject of "bitch here" is because of the fact I've just started making watermarked versions of my icons available to the general public and I'm setting up filters so that those who have shown they're good a crediting or are vouched for by those already friended can see the unwatermarked versions. this was not a decision I made lightly, as I had to get extra webspace so I was sure I'd have enough to do this with all my icons. I simply got fed up by extream rudeness on the part of those who think they're above crediting others for their hard work.
if you do not like the watermarked/non-watermarked setup, complain here.
on non-watermarked versions and requests
I'm getting the filters setup so that people I friend on this account can see the non-watermarked versions. if you'd like to be on that filter then let me know. if you're friended by someone who I know and is trustworthy and look trustworthy yourself you'll get added without any problem. heck, if you're icon list shows you're good at crediting I'll add you without any problems as well. if you look a bit iffy or are new to LJ then I'll ask for you to get someone trustworthy to vouch for you.
as for requests:
requests are open!
minimovie icons are a no-go unless supplied with an animated gif in the request. and... requests are not watermarked.

I'm only going to share watermark-worthy icons for a while, as I'm a little paranoid thanks to a recent development where I found a Russian site which had my icons in their Wolf's Rain avatars section without asking OR crediting. it's been a couple days since I've contacted them but they've yet to get back to me. if anyone reading this knows Russian please let me know, as the reason they haven't gotten back to me may be the fact babelfish sometimes translates to gibberish and they can't understand my email. I'll do an icon/theme/banner request for whoever helps me.
