Wow it’s been awhile I know
So here we are in mid July. Company Picnic is coming up this weekend and of course with all the nice weather it will probably be overcast and 60. Of all days. But one can pray and have hope that God will shine down on use this day. Things at home have been very wacky and tense. From one thing to another always getting nagging from the wife and friends with their problems rolling into our lives. But my kids are so great. We got a little pool for them to play in on hot days. It’s so nice. Sit out there and watch them play in this little thing like its the size of a the new Athens Olympic pool. Work has been good. I get worked up about the stupid things but no one was thinking when they decided to route all VIP calls to the office and then have one agent past 8pm. Yes I have earned the right to not have to take the calls but I am a good guy (and of course the gnome_king threatens us) so we take VIP calls to help the one VIP agent cope with the 8 calls on hold for 25 min. Smart idea eggs heads. Now that is what I call customer service.
So I get this caller who called one line and then transfer to priority service and was put on hold again. He had to wait 25 min to get to a "specialty agent". "I just want to confirm my reservation."
I kind of like these hours I am working because the family always keeps me up late anyways. Being summer we let the kids stay up a little later than normal. And the wife has always been a night owl. So when I was working mornings I would be up on average until 11pm but sometimes she would being doing "arts & crafts" and keep me up until 1 or 2pm. Then I would have to be up at 5pm to make it to the bus in time to be at work by 630am. But with this new time I stay up with the night owl and sleep in until whenever I want. But now the kids are complaining that I do not spend enough time with them. What a bunch of winos. Oh well not much I can do right now.
So I have wasted enough of everyone’s LJ space. Not that anyone really cares or reads what I have to say. As my last post stated "My Best Friend is nobody"
