Story Time!

I need to start updating my LJ more often and share the crazy thoughts of my brain. For this one, I shall tell a story. This story is dedicated to Stephanie, it was conceived at Starbucks she approved this tale. I made her tear up a bit. Yes, it is that awesome. It also has some life lessons, so enjoy!

This is a story about a lion. It is a female lion, but she has a large flowing mane (don't judge it is my brain!!). She is on the hunt to find suitable prey. She looks fabulous with makeup done perfectly, with a saucy red dress with teeth and claws sharpened. She walks slowly to the local watering hole and sees the herd of gazelles. All male gazelles with briefcases full of cash. The nicer, stronger lead gazelles have nice expensive suits on and their briefcases are filled with joyous green cash. The weaker ones are farther back and have a sort of gimp. They are dressed in torn jeans and oxford shirts. Their briefcases are filled with a whole lot of air. The lion stayed at a distance trying to find the right gazelle to devour. She spots a handsome gazelle with a fat briefcase and very nice suit and tie. The white gold Rolex shimmers on his hoof. The herd starts to move and the lion scampers quickly up a ways and perches behind a rock. The herd starts to pick up speed with their ties flapping in the wind. The lion finds her choice of prey and waits patiently, she hunches down ready to pounce at any moment. The richest of the rich races up towards the rock, not knowing it will be his last run or that his precious riches will be stripped from him. He quickly approaches, and the lion pounces with speed and adrenaline. She lands perfectly on her prey. The other just run a bit faster to not be the next. He tries to hit her with his briefcase, but she knocks it away with her heavy paw and it flew across the dirt. The lion devours the rich gazelle tearing his entrails out with each bloody bite. When she is certain he is dead, she looks up with blood covering her face and dress. She feels the wind blowing through her mane and feels triumphant. She leaves the lifeless corpse where he lay and slips off his Rolex and takes the briefcase. She stops at the watering hole and cleans off the bits of gazelle in her fur and bloody face. She goes back to her cave high above the valley and throws the briefcase into the cave by a large mountain of briefcases hiding in her den. She walks gracefully and slowly to the edge of the cliff and stares into the sunset. The wind is blowing towards her face and she feels serenity...for tomorrow, is shopping day!!
