hello

Heck didn't know its been so long since I've updated this journal. Sorry about that. Red some lovely post though. Kay understand entirely and Karen frustrating maybe but hope you all had a good Christmas and to everyone else likewise. Some I know did via facebook but good to hear more fully what's going on. Smiles.

I got some lovely presants from Mum and friends which were good. I got a bowl with a cheese knife set which Mum would not take back when I said I mightn't use it so we'll see. Maybe I will, who knows plus a couple of bowls bought the day before Christmas, buy two and get one free at Farmers and a block of chocolate. I also got some cd's earlier, one from Mum and one I bought myself. Lovely. Other presants alright too. got a few Christmas cards which David next-door neighbour can read to me or Mum will if I need her to and also support workers from CCS Disability Action so I'm lucky. Better than Jack who said he didn't have someone to read his cards at time of writing so hope he knows who they're from soon if not already but not asking. Its the thought that counts but for me in my situation limiting but tolerable. Christmas is so so so hmmmmm. Not too bad though.

Not sure what I'm doing this holiday season accept been to a beach with Mum for a paddle and a cuppa yesterday. Might be going to the Oamaru club new years eve, got a band playing in the hall apparently. Everything alright here, animals well and so I am likewise which is good. Not as bad as I was last year but only minor things to worry about thankfully at the moment. I'll still have support workers next year and the indoor bowling Christmas party was fantastic which the volunteers put on for us. I do the best I can so keeping on listening to Telly, daisy books, playing the accordion when I do and other stuff. I enjoy walks as its lovely. We've had some really good hot weather lately. Oh must tell you David planted some really delicious raddishes this year. They were yummy. Also started eating new potatoes we had planted, David doing that for me. By the way david was with me for Christmas dinner at Mum's so that was cool plus another friend. Better sign off now. probably done heaps but just usual stuff I suspect. Thank you very much for reading the journal I am grateful you took the time to stop by. Thank you. Take care and keep warm. Hope you don't have a cold. Its winter in some parts of the world but summer in New zealand at the moment. Huge hugs. Maybe I'll be back again sometime God willing. Anyway I've enjoyed reading what you have to say. Bye for now. Thanks.

Just managed to restore the post so that was lucky. Now here is more. hope this works. Not necessarily my screen reader at fault. anyway been out yesterday with a support worker, had something to eat then went for a walk. Afterwards bought fish and chips and went to the warf to eat them. sat on a seat which was lovely then went for a walk there before coming home again and mucking round, listening to daisy book and going to the Oamaru club with Mum. Mum and I took some raffles this time, won some steak. very good indeed but didn't win anything else. Oh well. Had evening meal at my flat. Today cleaner came and apart from that mucked around and saw David. Mum popped in for a while also. David and I bought something to eat for lunch from the fish and chip shop over the road, not far from my flat. got some food cooked to eat so might do that soon. the weather was good enough that the washing got almost dry which was good. Not sure what new years eve will be like weather wise. Happy new year to you. Take care. Going to hopefully post this entry. Yay. Huge hugs.
