"This love has taken it's toll on me"

So I spent some of last night cropping pictures. A friend who, last i checked, was in England, has been on the hunt trying to "find" himself. He sends me pictures once in a great while and their usually some of the most beautiful pictures i've ever seen. So I am putting them here.

"These two were taken not long after I last saw you. The angel picture came out better then I expected. It overlooked a sharp cliff and it was terribly hard to take the photo. The second one was about 2 miles north of the cemetary where the angel was located. I tried to capture the view that a small child would have looking up at a prisoner in the window. It was very cold and extremely chilling."

1st one: "This picture was the view from my hotel window in Italy. I remembered waking up and feeling pity on the building. It seemed to be the reminder to the local towns folk that not everything lives forever."

2nd one: "Stone and a long road was what I captured in this photo. A young boy told me that the old building used to be where the families gathered on sundays. The inside was magnificent but no pictures aloud!"

3rd: "I had to take a picture of this tree. It reminded me sooo much of that foreign movie The Ring. It was the most nightmare enducing tree i've ever come across."

1st: "It was just reaching winter when I went to visit girlyman. He's changed a lot and so has the weather. His backyard is literally a farm and along the edge of his property was where I took this photo. The snow had fallen early that morning but it was the right kind of snow that clings tightly to the limbs of old trees as if grasping for what's left of their flakey lives."

2nd: "The subway is probably one of the more busy places in Italy. Many people are rushing but unlike new york, they are polite and patient. A friend pointed out that at the right angle you can take a photo that runs on forever. After getting the film back, I felt as if capturing the walkway to hell. It was dark and eerie and made me want to turn away."

The rest of the photo's are just photo's that he found that he sent to me describing some kind of meaning he's been feeling.

"I came across this photo in this womans house where I was staying the night. She told me that it was a picture of her and her niece just before she married her now deceist husband. The look in her eyes for some reason made me think of nerves and remorse. The niece seemed like she was holding her hand to help her along the way. The woman told me that the niece later grew up and moved to America. She lives in Chicago now and seldom calls. I guess sometimes the grasp loosens a little on life."

"Blink BLink...On the streets you can buy pretty much everything. An artistic young woman was selling her photo's for nearly dirt. I had to help a fellow artist out and I bought this particular picture. I gave her what I had left in my pocket and was on my way. I later discovered that this picture was a picture of her own eye. Amazing! Needless to say, it kept my eyes open if I ever came across her path again. She was absolutely beautiful in her form."

He's been all over and everytime he comes to visit he has the best stories. I figure someday he'll settle down and write a book or something because everything he says is bewildering.

"I hope you enjoy the photo's and I'll be home as soon as I can. The country side here is breathtaking. See you soon! If I don't see you before then, Happy 16th and tell Kristina good luck with college."
