pre-Thanksgiving
I had a good day today despite the fact that I didn't sleep last night. I got to go out today. I went to the Post Office to send some swaps out since I'll be away for a couple of days and I got to have breakfast with my Mom. That's a busy day for me. How sad. But that's the way it is these days.
Tomorrow I'm going to stay with my Mom and her husband for Thanksgiving but first I will be watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a Grand Tradition for me. One that I have sadly not been able to pass on to my son. I think it's because for me the parade is about New York City and Broadway and Parades and pseudo stars and Balloons. Either you get it or you don't. I haven't watched it with someone who loved it as much as I do in years. I feel the dearth.
